Heath joined Broadview Group in 2022 and is a Principal where he focuses on direct investments in private companies. Heath’s focus is leading the identification and execution of new private company investment opportunities. Once under management, Heath works with our portfolio companies to provide the resources and guidance needed to achieve sustained, profitable growth.

Prior to Broadview Group, Heath was Vice President of Corporate Development at Dot Family Holdings, where he focused on control buyouts of middle-market distribution companies. From 2015-2022, as the first hire into Dot Family Holdings, Heath helped the Tracy Family grow their family office to $2.2 billion in revenues and over $250 million in EBITDA from ground zero. During this time, Heath led five different platform and numerous complementary acquisitions for Dot Family Holdings. Prior to Dot Family Holdings, Heath was a Vice President at Prospect Partners, a Chicago-based lower middle market private equity firm, where he identified and executed both platform and add-on acquisitions and provided board leadership and strategic guidance to numerous lower-middle-market companies. Prior to Prospect Partners, Heath was a management consultant with PwC in its Chicago office.

Among others, Heath led the acquisitions of and has served as Board Director or Board Advisor to Pet Food Experts, OmniCable, Houston Wire & Cable, TAGG Logistics, LeSaint Logistics, Grabber Construction Products, Reliable Parts, and Cyclonaire.

 

Heath and his wife, Katherine, live in St. Louis, Missouri with their three small children, Harlow (6), Harrison (4), and Hallie (1) and dog, Izzie. Given the age and number of his kids, Heath has no real time for hobbies, but enjoys staying active and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Heath received a BSBA in Finance and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
